Import Google Maps data into Airtable
4 ready-made templates that bring Google Maps data into Airtable or enrich existing records, with the same preview, match key and revert as every Rowvela import.
Beta in the pilot. Enabled for your workspace on request during the pilot, and marked Beta until verified with a live account.
What you can import
| Template | What it does |
|---|---|
| Distance and time for each record (for each record) | Send Origin and Destination address fields to Google Routes. Numeric distance is always metres; duration is seconds. Provider billing applies to inspect and new previews. |
| Coordinates for each address (for each record) | Use the first ranked Google geocoding result. Ambiguous matches require review. ZERO_RESULTS produces no output row. |
| Address for each coordinate (for each record) | Use the first ranked Google geocoding result. Ambiguous matches require review. ZERO_RESULTS produces no output row. |
| Best business match for each query (for each record) | Return the first ranked Places Text Search match for Query. Review identity before write-back; matching a name is not proof of identity. Requested fields affect Google billing. |
Connecting
Enable the relevant Google Maps API and billing. Routes/Places use X-Goog-Api-Key; Geocoding uses query parameter key. Enter the key only in Authentication. Provider usage and storage terms apply.

How it works in Rowvela
- 01
Apply the template
Pick it in the integration catalog and fill in its parameters. It becomes an ordinary import you can inspect and change.
- 02
Add credentials
Enter the key or connect the account in Authentication. Secrets are encrypted and never shown again.
- 03
Choose input records
Select the Airtable view whose records feed the request, and the fields that receive the answer.
- 04
Review the preview
See every new and changed record before anything is written, then schedule it or run it on demand.
